Hello Everybody,
It is with some trepidation that I am attempting to publish a graphic novel online for a talented artist, Whitney Delaglio. It debuts on Friday, February 25 and is titled Prism the Miracle at www.prismthecomic.com or www.prismthemiracle.com. I bought two domain names so everybody would have an easier time finding the website. The reason for my trepidation is because I'm concerned about finding ways to make this profitable for everybody, but nothing ventured, nothing gained so venture forth I will! I have several ideas already and I will be testing more and more as we go along. Like most things, I have a hypothesis that it will take a combination of marketing tools to make the site successful--not to mention the talent and hard work on Whitney's part.
This is the first of what I hope will be many such ventures. As we go along, I will let you know how it's going and what feedback we get. So, please check out the graphic novel every Friday.
Literary League's website will be rolling out with lots of new content shortly after the Prism the Miracle website, so please also go to www.literaryleague.com to see what's happening there.
There's an inside joke to my doing a the literaryleague.com website, especially the grammar Grannie column, that has to do with spelling. I'm a terrible speller, but I work to look things up and while I do rely on spell check to help, I know not to rely upon it exclusively. We all have our little foibles, it's how we deal with them that makes the difference.
I'll sign off now and will post something next week.
Happiness to all,
Eileen B
