Hello Everybody,
I've written a new article for the Grammar Grannie page covering the correct way to use titles. Let me know if there are any other areas you would like to have covered.
I will be handing out copies of one of my books to some victims--er I mean nice people who will read it for me and give me feedback. After I re-edit it, I will be posting it to Amazon and Barnes and Noble in ebook form. I'm hoping that will all come together in the next couple of weeks. Once the book is posted, I'll write a few articles on the posting process and on how to market the book.
Another area I've been exploring is developing a smartphone app. That too should be available in the next couple of weeks. I'm testing and tweaking it now so stay tuned for news on that front. I will write an article about my experience for those of you who are interested in developing an app.
Best wishes to all,
Eileen

Back and Back to Basics
Hello Everybody,
I'm very happy to report that the Literary League website, that has been neglected for months, will now be receiving some attention. The Writing Contest page has been updated and more entries will be added in the weeks to come. The Writing Conference page will also be updated soon.
I am looking for articles for the website. These articles should be about the craft and/or business of writing. Experience with e-books is of particular interest.
Keep writing,
Eileen

Copyright Your Work
Hello All,
There is a new article on the Literary League website that covers the basics of copywriting your work written by Gwen McLernon. It can be found at this link: http://www.literaryleague.com/Copyright.html .
This article was in response to numerous requests I've had for information about how to copyright. If you would like to see articles on other topics, please go to the Contact Us page (http://www.literaryleague.com/contact.html) and drop me a line.
Happy Writing,
Eileen

Putting My Experiences Out There
Hello All,
Later today, I will post an article I wrote about writer critique groups. Honestly, I am not a fan. However, I am not closed minded and realize that the little microcosm that makes up my world is only formed my experiences. I would love to hear from anybody out there who has a made these groups work.
I will then write a new article with a title something like "Secrets of a Successful Critique Group" giving you ample credit, of course.
Best wishes and keep writing,
Eileen

A Moving Story
Hello everybody,
My move is over and it was the worst one yet. Like legions of workers, I work mostly at home so it was a combined move of home and workplace. Add to that the fact that this was a big downsize that had to be done quickly and I hope you understand why I haven't blogged in a while. Of course, all that is too simple for me. I had to up the stress level by renovating my new digs. As of today, I have a functioning kitchen YAYYYYYYYY.
So, now it's back to work. The writing contests page has five new entries. Check it out: http://www.literaryleague.com/Writing_Contests.html
I've hired Gwen McLernon to write a series of articles on legal issues writers face starting with copyrighting. The first article will be posted within a week.
There are also articles in the pipeline about genre fiction writing, so check back for that.
I'll post notices on Twitter and Facebook when any new article is published.
As always, I invite you to write to me with your questions and areas of interest and I'll do my best to address them.
Best wishes,
Eileen
